I love my 013 FET, this is one of the reasons I really wanted them, for acoustic guitar recording… and some vocals… but it’s really so versatile I can put it on anything and it’ll sound great 👏🏼 to hear La Leona on the FET is a match made in heaven ☁️

If you include stereo bar matched color of mics it will be so much better, obvious and complete package. How much it will be, just $10 extra on top?..... Even Behringer included stereo mount for *30x* cheaper mic. And you can say, that you can buy out of shelf, somewhere, but the key is color match.... but I see that you have one..... for $113.... really?.... Should be in set included (for free). Not a nice touch.

That "golden" capsule as I understand is pure metal, will it be oxidizing over time? (for example like coins loose shine)

The Russian Soyuz 017 kicks the German Neumann U 47 really hard in the ass because the 017 is a fraction of what a used U 47 costs and it can easily keep up with the U 47 in terms of sound. I brought several trained ears, that is, people I know who own a recording studio themselves and also some who work in recording and listening areas in recording studios, to my studio because I didn't trust my ears. That was crazy, but just to open it up again To be sure that I wasn't making a mistake, I got these people on my Neumann KH 310 and then switched back and forth between the Soyuz 017 Tube and the Neumann U 47. I cropped both excerpts in my DAW so that I could quickly switch back and forth with a mouse click and keyboard, so to speak, so that the human ear doesn't lose any time until it can hear the second audio excerpt. I'll tell you honestly, the majority of people who listened to this blind shootout in the listening room thought the Soyuz 017 was the last one to be the Neumann U 47. Out of 6 people, only two of them guessed correctly and, based on their hearing, pointed exactly to the U 47 after I switched from the 017 to the U 47 recording file. But even if they were both right, they said that they also really noticed the Soyuz 017. But imagine if I had told all 6 of them right from the start what exactly which microphone was. I think then the results would probably have been completely different. All but perhaps one would probably say yes, the U 47 is the clear winner because it is far more expensive and better known. What do you think. There were often blind shootouts on Gearspace where almost 70% of listeners thought the much cheaper recording equipment was the original. That doesn't mean that the U 47 is bad, it's a legendary microphone, the Holy Grail among microphones, but I think it's just too overpriced when you consider that you pay between 15,000 euros and up, there's no limit when you're paying for one A used Soyuz 017 tube costs around 3500 euros and it can really easily keep up with the U 47 without having to make any effort.
